CBSE sample papers 2025-26: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the sample paper of class 10th and 12th for the academic year 2025-26. Marking scheme has also been released along with the sample paper. Students can check the sample paper by visiting the official website of CBSE cbseacademic.nic.in. Let us tell you that the students appearing in the February-March 2026 CBSE board examination will have to prepare keeping in mind these sample papers and marking scheme. By downloading these sample papers, candidates can get information about the question paper method, marking, exam pattern and other information which will help you to prepare better for the board examinations.
As per the notice released by CBSE, there is no change in the marking scheme from the year 2024-25 and this scheme will remain the same for both class 10 and 12. Except for language papers, most of the sample papers have questions, along with the marking scheme, in both English and Hindi. The board exams will be conducted by CBSE in February 2026. The sample papers contain general instructions, maximum marks and section wise marks.
The marking scheme has been released for all major subjects like English, Mathematics, Hindi, Social Science, Science, Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Biology etc. Apart from this, students can also see the marking scheme of subjects like Assamese, Bengali, Bharatanatyam, Bhutia, Hindustani Music (Singing), Carnatic Music-Melodic Instruments, Carnatic Music-Rhythm Instruments, Carnatic Music-Singing, Painting, Arabic.
The purpose of the sample paper is to present the format of the question paper along with the guidelines regarding uniformity and comprehensiveness of the syllabus. Along with this, the sample question paper is useful for developing the concept of making the outline of the question papers and teaching and learning activities in the classroom useful.

1. Visit the official website cbse.gov.in and click on the academic website.
2. Or you can directly click on cbseacademic.nic.in.
3. Go to the sample question paper and click on the sample question paper 2025-26.
4. In the next step, click on Class X/XII.
5. Then select the subject for which you want to download the sample paper.
6. The PDF will open on the screen, check it.
7. Download it and take a printout for future reference.
