CBSE Board Exam 2021-22: Another big decision taken by CBSE for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 Term 1 Exam


 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finalized the OMR sheet. CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 (CBSE Board Exam 2021-22) Term 1 Exam is going to start from November 16, 2021. Actually CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 Term 1 Exam will be MCQ based and it will be of 90 minutes.

CBSE has already announced that the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 Term-1 exam will have a maximum of 60 questions and students will have to fill the OMR sheet with a pen. CBSE has customized the OMR sheet for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exam 2022 Term-1 Exam with an additional “box” and a separate column. This has been done so that the candidates need not erase the wrong entry and will have the option to indicate the questions which they have skipped.


New CBSE board exam pattern

  • From the academic year 2021-22, CBSE will conduct two board exams in a year in November-December and term 2 in March-April.
  • The course will be divided in two between the two terms.
  • Term 1 will be of 90 minutes test consisting of MCQ questions only.
  • Term 2 will be of 120 minutes test consisting of both subjective and objective type questions.
  • Students have to fill the OMR sheet with pen and an additional circle will be provided for each question.

  • CBSE Class 10 Science exam is to be held on December 2.

CBSE is that it will evaluate the OMR Sheet at the exam center after the exam is over on the same day. After this CBSE will upload/deliver the OMR sheet to the regional office. This year around 36 lakh class 10 and class 12 students will appear in the exam.

The OMR sheet will be common for all the subjects offered by CBSE but the number of questions will vary according to the subjects. CBSE Controller of Examinations Bhardwaj said that each question will have four options, i.e. ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’. The OMR sheet will also have an additional column of 60 figures for each question. This additional column will have 60 ovals for 60 questions. If there are 50 questions in a question paper and a candidate leaves out any one of them, the corresponding oval in this column will be filled by him/her.
