That’s why no initiative was taken (CBSE Big Update)

According to CBSE, type-2 diabetes is increasing rapidly in children in the last few years. Earlier this disease was only seen in adults, but now it is being seen in children as well. The main reason for this is the high consumption of sugar and junk food. This is why the Sugar Board is necessary and its purpose is to protect children from the risk of diseases caused by pizza, burgers, cold drinks and processed food, especially diabetes.

What will happen with the Sugar Board? (CBSE Sugar Board Update)

There will be seminars and workshops in schools, in which experts will tell children and parents about the harm caused by eating too much sugar. Posters and information will be put up on the walls of the school, which will tell how much sugar is right to eat in a day. Information will be given about how much sugar is there in popular food items (such as chocolate, juice, cold drinks).

Children will be told about healthy diet (CBSE Sugar Board Update)

Children will be taught what to include in a healthy diet and how to reduce sugar addiction. CBSE also said that children should get a maximum of 5 percent of their calories from sugar as per their age. But today’s children are eating many times more sweets than this and this is dangerous for health.
