New Delhi. State-owned network provider company Sanchar Nigam Limited ( BSNL ) is now discontinuing its lifetime prepaid plan. And transferring all those customers to the plan of Rs 107 per minute. This change will start from December 1, 2021. In Lifetime prepaid plans, users have been given more benefit of lower tariff and those customers will be sent to the plan of Rs.107. One thing to note is that the customers who will be migrated will not get the free benefits.
BSNL’s Rs 107 plan: In BSNL’s Rs 107 plan, users will get the facility of unlimited incoming calling. Talking about the validity, the total validity of 90 days will be available in this plan. Talking about data benefits, users will be given 10GB data in this plan, which can be used for 30 days. Apart from this, 100 minutes will be available for calling benefits in this plan, which can be used for 24 days.
Apart from this, customers will get free BSNL default tunes, which can be used by customers for 60 days. Talking about the free benefits, in the plan of Rs 107, 3GB free data is given with a validity of 84 days. In which 100 minutes are available for free voice calling on all networks for 100 days in national roaming including Mumbai and Delhi. At the same time, free BSNL tunes are included for 60 days. But users migrating from Lifetime Prepaid to Plan cannot take advantage of the freebies.
BSNL had launched new promotional plans earlier this year to encourage users during the grace period to become active customers. The telecom company has limited the incoming facility to prepaid mobile customers only in the North Zone and West Zone. BSNL has also discontinued the incoming SMS facility for all expired prepaid mobile customers in East Zone and South Zone.
North Zone and West Zone had incoming SMS facility with two customers grace period for 60 days at the promotional level. South Zone and East Zone to suspend incoming SMS facility for GP2 customers for 60 days on a promotional basis, to encourage GP2 customers to recharge and convert into active customers in VLR.
BSNL has extended the validity of its Rs 2399 annual prepaid plan by 60 days. Now the validity of this plan has become 425 days. Earlier this plan used to get a validity of 365 days, but now it is coming with an additional validity of 60 days. The validity of this plan has been extended till December 31, 2021.
Talking about the benefits of this plan, users are given 3GB high speed data daily in this plan. Internet runs at a speed of 80 Kbps after the high speed data is exhausted. Talking about SMS, 100 SMS are available daily in this plan. Unlimited voice calling is available in this plan for voice calling. Talking about other benefits, BSNL Tunes and Eros Now subscription is available for 425 days in this plan.
