BSNL Broadband Offers: BSNL has expanded its 50GB CUL and 120GB CUL plans across the country, excluding the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, limited to certain parts of the country.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a public sector telco with excellent service in the broadband sector, on Monday announced a new promotional offer for its customers. Rs. Earlier this year, BSNL announced that the 500GB CUL plan would be available till June 2020. However, in some circles like Arunachal Pradesh, the plan has been extended till September 24, 2020 and made available to other circles till September 25, 2020. Available for Rs 777, the plan offers speeds of up to 100 Mbps up to 500 GB and BSNL claims that the internet speed will be reduced to 5 Mbps once the data limit is reached. Customers who have subscribed to this plan will have unlimited voice calling to any network in India. This plan previously only allowed browsing with internet speeds of up to 50 Mbps up to 500GB. After this the internet speed will be reduced to 2 Mbps. However, according to the newly revised plan, the internet speed has been increased to 100 Mbps as part of the plan. BSNL said the plan will be available to BSNL customers across India for a period of 90 days on a promotional basis, excluding the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

However, customers who join the new plan will have to pay a one-month fee as a security deposit. Customers who join the plan will be switched to the 600GB CUL plan after six months. For Rs 849 per month, you can browse up to 600GB at 50 Mbps internet speed. Internet speed is reduced to 2 Mbps once the data limit is reached.
These plans are available across the country. BSNL said it would launch the plan on a promotional basis for its new customers for a period of 90 days. Browsing up to 50GB with internet speed of 20 Mbps is possible through the 50GB CUL plan. Internet speed is reduced to 1 Mbps after the data limit is reached. Similarly, the 120GB CUL plan allows users to browse up to 120GB at speeds of up to 20 Mbps.
Internet speed will be reduced to 1 Mbps once the data limit is reached. For a 50GB CUL plan you have to pay Rs.299 per month, while for a 120GB CUL plan it is Rs. 491 to be paid. Customers opting for 50GB CUL and 120GB CUL plans will have to pay a security deposit of Rs.500. They have the option of making unlimited voice calls to any network in India.
