If the air passengers do not follow the prescribed Covid guidelines, then airlines can throw you out of the flight. Let’s know the new instructions.

Know the new instructions

According to our affiliate website Zee Business, on June 3, the Delhi High Court had directed the DGCA to issue separate Covid-19 guidelines for everyone including airports, staff, airlines, passengers. After this, the DGCA has asked the airline companies to inform the passengers about the Covid-19 protocol. Along with this, it has also been instructed to urge the passengers to apply masks in a proper way. The regulator has clearly said that airlines should not allow such passengers to travel who refuse masks.

Airlines can take a tough stand

Let us tell you that the airlines have been told that if any passenger during the journey refuses to follow the covid protocol, then they should be put in the category of Unruly Passenger. Not only this, such passengers can also be kept in the No Fly List for a few days. The DGCA has also said that airport operators can also take the help of local police if needed. It has also been advised to impose fine on such passengers.

In fact, the daily Covid-19 infection in the country was recorded above 5,000 after 93 days. The total number of Covid cases reached 4.3 crore.
