Big news to employees: Bonus and increased DA gift before Diwali! Lakhs of workers and pensioners will benefit, proposal sent for CM’s consent

The Finance Department has prepared a proposal to give one month ad-hoc bonus to non-gazetted employees. As before, it is proposed to transfer 25% of the bonus in cash and 75% in GPF. The maximum limit of ad-hoc bonus is proposed to be Rs.7,000.



Preparations are being made to give bonus and dearness allowance to the employees of the state before Diwali. The Finance Department of the Government has prepared a proposal of bonus and sent it through the Finance Minister for the approval of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A proposal for approval of dearness allowance and dearness relief is being prepared. Can be done in November with October salary.

Sources said that the Finance Department has prepared a proposal to give one month ad-hoc bonus to non-gazetted employees. As before, it is proposed to transfer 25% of the bonus in cash and 75% in GPF. The maximum limit of ad-hoc bonus is proposed to be Rs.7,000. You can get 30 days bonus of Rs 6,908.

If only 25 per cent of the employees were paid in cash, out of Rs 6,908 of the bonus, only 1,727 would be in hand. More than 12 lakh non-gazetted employees with grade pay up to Rs 4800 will get its benefit. With the approval of the Chief Minister, the bonus can be paid in November along with the salary of October.



Similarly, like the central government, there is a three percent increase in dearness allowance to the employees of the state from July 1 and dearness relief to the pensioners. Employees and pensioners are currently getting 28% dearness allowance and dearness relief. After three percent increase, it will increase to 31 percent.

Sources said that it is proposed to give increased DA and DR to 28 lakh employees and pensioners of the state in November along with the salary of October. The DA from July to September can be sent to the GPF of the employees. A proposal in this regard is also being prepared.
