According to the findings of a Deloitte survey with ET, only 12 per cent of companies plan to give employees the option to work from any city on a permanent basis. Barring the IT and ITeS sectors, most of the industries are not willing to allow remote working.
More than 450 organizations have been included in this work from home survey.
In this survey, companies said that companies are willing to get their employees to come to their native places and work. Because considering the issues like hardware infra, data privacy, better productivity and relationship with the employees, it would be better for the employees to come and work in the same city where they are posted.
According to an IANS report, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had earlier said that it would encourage all its employees to join the offices by the end of 2021.
