Air India is giving a big discount (Air India Senior Citizen Concession) on air tickets till December 2021. Under this special scheme, Senior Citizens will get 50 percent discount on Basic Fare on Air India flight. Let us tell you that this discount of Air India will be applicable on all the routes of the country.
Senior citizens will get 50% discount on air tickets
To take advantage of this scheme launched by Air India, senior citizen passenger will have to pre-book the ticket at least 3 days in advance. Under this scheme, Air India said that passengers above 60 years of age will get this exemption only on domestic flights.
Along with this, let us tell you that the benefit of this discount will be available only on booking economy class tickets. If you are also planning to go somewhere during this period, then you will have to pay only 50 percent of the basic fare.
These documents are necessary
Senior citizens should have some important documents when they are traveling by Air India flight. In these, a photo identity card with date of birth is mandatory for your identity. If a passenger does not have an identity card, then they will not be given the discount on the ticket. In this case, you will have to pay the full fare. It is worth noting that Air India started this scheme in December 2020. Now after one year i.e. till December 2021, this offer is applicable.
