Coronavirus Cases in India: The cases of new variants of Covid and Covid Omicron cases are increasing continuously. Be it Delhi or Mumbai or any other city of the country, the number of new corona patients is increasing daily.


However, the government says that unless there is a serious illness, there is no need for a Covid test. 16,65,404 Covid tests were conducted in the country yesterday. So far, more than 1 billion, 56 crore, 76 lakh, 15 thousand people have been vaccinated against Covid.

New kits are being invented to test Covid. Now you can check the corona by yourself sitting at home. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has approved a kit called COVISELF for at-home corona virus testing. After this kit, now people can do Covid test at home by spending only 250 rupees. ICMR has also issued advisory for investigation, in which it has been advised not to conduct unnecessary investigation.

Nnew rule for the record
In view of the increasing demand for Covid test kits and to find out the correct data of Covid cases, a new decree has been issued from the Mumbai Administration. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar announced that people buying Covid test kits will have to give their Aadhaar cards to chemists to maintain records. He said that if the report of a person comes positive during the investigation at home, then its information should be given to the health authorities and the information should also be updated online.


The Mayor of Mumbai said, “We have decided that every person who buys a self-test kit will have to provide his/her Aadhaar card to the chemist to maintain the record.”

He said that till Friday, a total of 1,6,897 lakh people had done the home test of Covid, out of which 3,549 people tested positive at home.

Corona cases in maharashtra
According to the state health department, 42,462 new cases of coronavirus infections were reported in Maharashtra on Saturday, which is 749 fewer than Friday. On Saturday, 23 people died due to Corona.

The total cases of coronavirus in Maharashtra have increased to 71,70,483, and the death toll has risen to 1,41,779. 125 new cases of Omicron were reported in the state yesterday, taking the number of people infected with Omicron to 1,730.
