The bank has also increased the limit of minimum balance to be maintained in the account. Minimum balance increased from 15 thousand to 25 thousand

In a notification issued by the bank, it was told that the tariff structure of savings / salary account is being changed from June 1, 2022. Monthly minimum balance has been increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 25,000 in towns and rural areas. Apart from this, the penalty for not having auto debit success has also been increased. This will be effective from 1st July.

Monthly service charge of Rs.600

If customers of Axis Bank are not able to maintain the minimum balance in the account, then more service charge will have to be paid. The maximum monthly service charge for metro and urban areas will now be Rs 600. It will be Rs 300 for semi-urban area and Rs 250 for rural areas.

Such a penalty will be levied on failure of auto debit

In case of failure of National Automated Clearing House (NACH), the fee has been increased to Rs 500. Under this, Rs 375 will have to be paid for the first time, 425 for the second time and Rs 500 for the third time. The charge on auto debit failure has also increased by Rs 50 and it has increased from Rs 200 to Rs 250.

More money will have to be paid for cheque book

Now if you issue a cheque book from a bank, then you will have to pay a higher price for it too. After the change, the price per leaf cheque book has been increased from Rs 2.50 to Rs 4. This change will also be effective from July 1. Instead of Rs 75 for physical details and duplicate passbook fees, now Rs 100 will have to be paid. This change will also be effective from July 1.
