The week starting from Monday is filled with holidays. Banks will remain closed for the entire week from September 29 to October 5. Due to the closure, work related to cheque clearance, draft making, loans or passbooks will be postponed.

Customers depositing or withdrawing cash at bank branches may face difficulties in cash transactions. Therefore, it is best to arrange cash before the bank holidays. However, online transactions including UPI will remain fine.

When will banks be closed?

According to the list of bank holidays released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks will remain closed from September 29 to October 5.
