Indian Bank Savings Scheme: Indian Bank, a public sector bank, is offering attractive interest rates on fixed deposits to its customers. FDs with Indian Bank can range from 7 days to 10 years.

This public sector bank offers its customers interest rates ranging from 2.80% to 7.35% on FD accounts. Today, we’ll learn about an Indian Bank FD scheme that offers a fixed return of up to ₹79,500 with just ₹2 lakh.

Senior citizens are getting 6.50 percent interest on 5-year FDs.

Indian Bank is offering the lowest interest rate of 2.80 percent on 7-day FDs and the highest interest rate of 6.60 percent for general citizens, 7.10 percent for senior citizens and 7.35 percent for super senior citizens (people above 80 years of age) on its 444-day special FD scheme (Ind Secure Product). This government bank is offering 6.00 percent interest for general citizens, 6.50 percent for senior citizens and 6.75 percent for super senior citizens on 5-year FDs.

Deposit Rs 2 lakh in a 5-year FD and get fixed interest up to Rs 79,500

If you deposit ₹200,000 in a 5-year FD scheme with Indian Bank, ordinary citizens will receive a total of ₹269,371 upon maturity. This amount includes a fixed interest of ₹69,371. Similarly, if you are a senior citizen and deposit ₹2 lakh in a 5-year FD with Indian Bank, you will receive a total of ₹276,084 upon maturity at an interest rate of 6.5 percent, which includes a fixed interest of ₹76,084.

Similarly, if you are a super senior citizen and deposit ₹2 lakh in a 5-year FD with Indian Bank, you will receive a total of ₹279,500 upon maturity, which includes a fixed interest of ₹79,500. It should be noted that under FD schemes, customers receive a guaranteed fixed interest after a specified period.
