Amazon announces a special EMI scheme for Prime members

Amazon says that Prime members can upgrade to their favourite smartphone and enjoy 50% lower monthly instalments using HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card EMIs.




Amazon India on Tuesday introduced a special no-cost EMI scheme for Prime members in India. The newly introduced scheme called ‘Advantage no-cost EMI’ gives users the lowest interest-free instalments with a minimum three-month enhanced tenure for smartphone purchases on Amazon’s platform in India.Amazon says that Prime members can upgrade to their favourite smartphone and enjoy 50% lower monthly instalments using HDFC Bank Credit and Debit Card EMIs.




For instance, you were to buy a smartphone worth ₹30,000. With Prime membership, you can buy the phone via no-cost EMI option in 12 monthly instalments worth ₹2,500 each. The non-Prime members, on the other hand, will be able to avail the no-cost EMI option in six monthly instalments worth ₹5,000 each.

Step 3: Choose your tenure and other details on the payments page.

Step 4: Make the payment and you are done!

It is worth mentioning that this plan is available only to Amazon Prime members. Non-Prime members can avail it by joining Amazon Prime membership for ₹999 a year or ₹129 per month.
