India Post Payments Bank will also levy charges for doorstep banking charges from August 1. Customers will have to spend Rs 20 per request per customer.



There is big news for those who have an account in the post office bank i.e. India Post Payments Bank. The bank is going to make many big changes from 1st August (Rules Will be Changed From 1st August) i.e. you will have to spend more money on many services of the bank than now. The special thing is that if you are taking advantage of Doorstep Banking, then only you will have to spend this extra Rs. Other customers will not have to pay any extra money.

From August 1, 2021, India Post Payment Bank customers will have to pay Rs 20 per request for doorstep banking charges. Let us tell you that the bank has also recently cut interest rates. Customers having savings account from July 1 will get less interest.

For which service will have to pay extra charge-

The bank will levy charge on doorstep banking from 1st day. 20 per transaction plus GST will be charged by the bank.

>> Rs 20 plus GST on withdrawal and deposit.
>> Rs 20 plus GST on fund transfer to accounts.
>> Rs 20 plus GST on fund transfer to other bank accounts.
>> Rs 20 plus GST for Sukanya Samriddhi Account, PPF, RD, LARD.
>> Rs 20 plus GST for bill payments.
>> Rs 20 plus GST for assisted UPI.
>> Standing instructions under Send Money Service, Rs 20 plus GST for POSB, Sweep in and POSB Sweep out.

Which service will not be charged?

Apart from this, there are some services on which no charge will be levied. If you do any update in passbook or balance sheet, on last 10 transaction details, nominee updation, PAN updation, Aadhaar seeding, mobile number or e-mail ID update, new account opening, Life Insurance (LIC), The bank will not take any money on ReKYC, Direct Money Transfer, Digital Life Certificate, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana.

>> Download the IPPB app and click on ‘Open Account’.
>> Enter mobile number and PAN.
>> After this you have to enter the Aadhar number.
>> Now OTP will come on the mobile number registered in the account opener’s Aadhaar.
>> Now some personal details have to be entered, such as mother’s name, educational qualification, address and nomination details etc.
>> After submission the account will be opened and it can be accessed from the app.

Let us tell you that recently the bank has increased the limit of keeping the maximum amount of customers from one lakh rupees to two lakh rupees. Let us tell you that the customers of the bank also get the facility of QR card i.e. you do not need to remember any number. The authentication process of the account holder can be completed through biometric.
