Bharti Airtel on Monday announced the launch of its state-of-the-art 5G services in Shimla. Airtel 5G services are currently operational at Mall Road, Sanjoli, Dhali, Bhatta Kufar, The Ridge and Sanjoli Helipad area and few other select locations. Airtel said that it will expand its network to provide its services across the city in the coming times.

Airtel 5G services are currently operational at Mall Road, Sanjoli, Dhali, Bhatta Kufar, The Ridge and Sanjoli Helipad area and few other select locations. Airtel said that it will expand its network to provide its services across the city in the coming times.

Users will be able to take advantage of superfast network

“Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast network and enjoy speeds that are 20 to 30 times faster than existing 4G speeds. 5G services started in these cities

Last month, Airtel launched its 5G service in Patna. 5G services have also started in Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Guwahati, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur and Varanasi. Besides this, Bharti Airtel said that it has crossed the one million unique 5G user mark on its network, as the telecom operator is releasing 5G services in a phased manner. There will be no need to change the SIM for this as the existing Airtel 4G SIM is 5G capable.
