Airport New Charges: New User Fee Introduced at This Airport – Check Details Here

Noida International Airport: Passengers flying from Noida International Airport will now have to pay User Development Fee (UDF). The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) has fixed the charges for the new airport.

These will be the charges

Passengers will be charged Rs 980 UDF on international departure. This fee will be Rs 420 on international arrival. Domestic passengers will have to pay Rs 490 UDF and incoming passengers will have to pay Rs 210 UDF. These charges are much less than what the airport operator has demanded. The company had demanded Rs 1,380 UDF on international flights and Rs 690 UDF on domestic flights. This means a passenger taking a round trip from Noida to Dubai will have to pay a total of Rs 1,400 UDF. On the other hand, domestic round trips like to Mumbai will attract UDF of Rs 700.

Landing charges for airlines

Along with the passengers, the airlines will also have to pay hefty charges. Landing charges have been fixed based on the weight of the aircraft.

Rs 725 per 1,000 kg for domestic flights

Rs 1,088 per 1,000 kg for international flights

For example, the landing fee for a domestic flight on an 80,000 kg aircraft like Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 would be around Rs 58,000 and for an international flight, the fee would be around Rs 87,000. On the other hand, this cost would be even higher on bigger aircraft like Boeing 777 or Airbus A350.

Noida Airport will start operations in 2025-26 (FY26). Around 59.4 lakh passengers are expected to travel in the first year. This number is expected to reach 90.1 lakh in FY27, 1.19 crore in FY28, 1.54 crore in FY29 and 1.86 crore by FY30. A total of 6.1 crore passengers are expected to pass through the airport in five years, including about 5.8 crore domestic and 31 lakh international passengers.
