China’s aircraft safety standards have been considered one of the best in the world over the past few decades. According to the Aviation Safety Network, the last fatal plane crash in China was in 2010.


A passenger plane has crashed in China. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has said that there were a total of 132 passengers on the plane. Of these 123 were passengers and 9 were crew members. China’s state media had earlier reported that a total of 133 people were on board. This passenger plane fell on a mountain in southwest China and the fall of this plane caught fire here.

China’s state TV CCTV said on Monday that so far there is no clear information about the number of casualties. According to the Regional Emergency Management Bureau on CCTV, the Boeing 737 plane crashed in a rural area near Wuzhou city in Guangxi region and “a fire broke out in the middle of the mountains. Rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.”

According to CCTV, a Boeing 737 aircraft of China’s Eastern Airlines crashed in Teng rural area near Wuzhou city. When contacted by AFP for information, there was no immediate response from China Eastern.

According to local media, airport staff reported that Eastern China flight MU5735 did not reach its scheduled destination in Guangzhou on time. According to data from FlightRadar24, the plane took off from Kunming city at 1.11 pm local time on Monday. About an hour later, at 2:22 pm, the track record of an aircraft at an altitude of 3225 feet was over. At this time the plane was flying at a speed of 376 kilometers per hour.

China’s air safety standards have been considered one of the best in the world over the past few decades. According to the Aviation Safety Network, the last fatal plane crash in China was in 2010 when Henan Airlines’ Embraer E-190 regional jet crashed near Yichun Airport due to low visibility. Of the 96 passengers on this plane, 44 were killed.
