Philippines Tourism: Whenever we talk about travelling, the first thing that comes to mind is where to go? The first thought that comes to mind is… a place where you can find waterfalls, rivers, seashores, mountains, culture, bars, casinos, city life and shopping all in one place. And you don’t have to worry about visas either. Just pack your bags and leave. Now if you have visited Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, then you are forgetting one gem of South Asian country… Philippines, Manila.

Air India direct flights

Until now, there were no direct flights from Delhi to Manila, the Philippines. Previously, flights from India to Manila required a direct route via Singapore, Bangkok, or Kuala Lumpur, which could easily take a full day to reach Manila. This will no longer be the case. The good news is that Air India has launched the first non-stop flight from Delhi to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. This will now take you just six hours to reach Manila. There will be no transit or long waits.

14-day visa-free entry for Indians

This new Air India flight will operate five days a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. According to Air India CEO Campbell Wilson, this route will not only boost tourism but also strengthen business and cultural ties between India and the Philippines. The Philippines is also offering Indians 14 days of visa-free entry, meaning they can travel to the Philippines without paying visa fees.

Welcome to Manila

Upon landing at Manila Airport, you’ll be greeted by the Filipinos with warm welcomes, smiling faces, and a pleasant sea breeze. You can’t miss their pearl necklaces, which replace their flower garlands. Spanish, British, and American influences are clearly evident in the culture.

You can plan Manila tour package

Day 1: Intramuros – Old Manila City – The Old Manila area resembles Delhi’s Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. It’s less crowded and reminiscent of old Spain. The National Museum of the Philippines displays ancient gold jewelry, utensils, coins, and other artifacts from the kings and queens. You can also walk on gold here. Gold is placed beneath a glass floor, allowing you to walk on it. You’ll experience the feeling of walking on gold.

Day 3: Pagsanjan Falls – Pagsanjan Falls is located two and a half hours from Manila. Reaching the falls by boat is a memorable experience. The river between two mountains, the rain, and the boat ride between the waterfalls is nothing short of heavenly. The scenery here will be unforgettable. Don’t forget to visit Devil’s Cave.

Day 4 : Manila’s nightlife will give you a Dubai feel. Casinos, bars, and pubs are everywhere. Enjoying your drinks on your rooftop terrace overlooking the city at night will make you forget your tiredness. Don’t forget to visit the Mall of Asia for shopping. For budget shopping in Manila, you can visit Greenhills, which has shops selling everything from jewelry to food. Don’t forget to pick up dried mangoes from Manila, a specialty of the region.
