Tata Group-led domestic airline Air India Express on Thursday announced the launch of a new daily direct flight service between Bengaluru and Bangkok, effective September 18.
According to a statement issued by the company, the new flight service has been launched especially keeping in mind the upcoming festival and holiday season, to provide passengers from Bengaluru and surrounding areas with direct and convenient travel to Thailand without any hassle, reports PTI.

Introductory offer fares starting from ₹9,000
Air India Express has introduced special introductory fares to celebrate the launch of this new route. The fare from Bengaluru to Bangkok (one-way) is ₹9,000. Similarly, the fare from Bangkok to Bengaluru (one-way) is ₹8,850, while round-trip fares start at ₹16,800. Passenger bookings are now open and available on the airline’s official website, airindiaexpress.com, mobile app, and major online travel portals.
What are the flight timings
The Bengaluru-Bangkok flight will depart daily at 11:00 AM (IST) and arrive in Bangkok at 4:45 PM (IST). The return flight from Bangkok to Bengaluru will depart at 5:45 PM (IST) and arrive in Bengaluru at 8:30 PM (IST). This new direct connectivity is a great opportunity for tourists, family travelers, business travelers, and those planning holidays to Thailand. This Air India Express service will provide passengers with time-saving and affordable travel.
Flights from Dehradun to Bengaluru have also started.
Earlier, Air India Express launched its direct flight service from Dehradun to Bengaluru last Monday. The direct air service between Dehradun and Bengaluru by Air India Express has provided a great convenience to the youth, entrepreneurs, IT professionals, students and tourists of Uttarakhand. Let us tell you, Air India Express became a member of IATA last month, making it the fourth Indian airline to become a part of the global airlines association. The International Airport Transport Association (IATA) represents around 350 airlines, which handle about 80 percent of global air traffic.
