Air India has announced the launch of 174 new weekly flights as part of its Northern Winter Schedule, beginning October 26, 2025. The new flights will strengthen connectivity between major cities across the country and popular destinations in Southeast Asia.
If you haven’t secured a confirmed ticket to return home after Diwali or want to travel to Patna, Varanasi, or other cities for Chhath Puja, air travel may be an option.

For Rajasthan (from October 26)
Delhi–Jaipur (new route): 3 flights daily
Delhi–Jaisalmer (new route): 2 flights daily
Delhi–Udaipur: Increased from 2 to 3 flights daily

Mumbai–Jaipur: Increase from 3 to 4 flights daily
Mumbai–Udaipur: Increase from 3 to 4 flights daily
Mumbai–Jodhpur: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily
For Madhya Pradesh
Delhi-Indore: Increase from 3 to 4 flights daily
Delhi-Bhopal: Increase from 2 to 3 flights daily
Mumbai-Indore: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily
For Gujarat
Mumbai-Bhuj: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily
Delhi-Rajkot: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily

Delhi-Varanasi, Raipur: Increase from 2 to 3 flights daily
Delhi-Port Blair, Aurangabad, Guwahati, Nagpur: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily
Mumbai-Dehradun, Patna, Amritsar: Increase from 1 to 2 flights daily
New flights on international routes
Delhi–Kuala Lumpur: Increased from 7 to 10 flights per week (from November 15)
Delhi–Denpasar (Bali): Increased from 7 to 10 flights per week (from December 1)
The airline has extensively upgraded its older Airbus A320neo aircraft. Twenty-six of the 27 aircraft now feature new interiors and three classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy. Air India now has over 100 A320 family aircraft, offering passengers a superior and comfortable travel experience on over 80 domestic and short international routes.
