It is reported that on Saturday, the C-130J aircraft of the Indian Air Force has taken off from Kabul with 85 Indians. According to news agency ANI, sources said, ‘The plane has landed in Tajikistan for refueling. Indian government officials present in Kabul are helping in evacuating Indian citizens. According to media reports, around 450 Indians are likely to be trapped in Afghanistan. The Indian government is working closely with the US and other embassies for their return. From reaching Kabul airport to landing of the plane in Delhi, there are many problems. The Hindu report quoted officials as saying that even after the Taliban captured the capital, a formal government had not been formed. In such a situation, those people have to face a lot of problems, who do not have the necessary documents. “Our biggest problem is that even those who are in Kabul cannot leave their homes for the airport without the approval of the Taliban guards,” an official said. He explained that the US Army is in charge of Hamid Karzai Airport, located just 10 km from the Indian embassy. They are also unable to help outside the airport. In such a situation, it has become necessary to face the local guards at every checkpoint.
