Aadhar Card is the most important document. This is the reason why it has become very important to have all the information in the Aadhar card correct. But the most important thing in Aadhaar is that the phone number is correct. Because if the number in Aadhaar is not correct or you have closed that mobile number, then you may have to face a lot of difficulties. In such a situation, if you want to update a new mobile number in your Aadhar card, then we are telling you how you can easily do this work.

Follow this process to change mobile number in Aadhaar Card: First of all, locate your nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra by calling on UIDAI website, mAadhaar App or 1947. You can make an appointment for the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra online without any documents. On the appointed day, you will have to take your mobile and visit the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra.

Here you have to fill an update form. On this, you add your current ie such mobile number, which you are using. For this you will have to pay Rs 50 as fee. Here you have to verify your identity through Biometric Authentication. After making the payment, you will get the slip, which will contain the Unique Reference Number (URN). With the help of this, you will be able to check whether the mobile number in your Aadhar card has been updated or not.

In this way, check which mobile number is registered in your Aadhaar: For this, first go to www.uidai.gov.in. Select ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’ in the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab. A new tab will open on your system. Here enter your Aadhaar number and enter either the mobile number or the email ID from which you want to verify. Enter the captcha code and click on ‘Send OTP’.

If the mobile number entered matches with the UIDAI records, a message will appear on the screen that your entered mobile number is already verified in its records. Failure to do so, i.e. the mobile number entered does not match with the UIDAI record, then it will be told that the mobile number entered does not match with the record.
