UIDAI has tweeted that you can get the Aadhaar of children made with the help of only 2 documents. For this, you can do this work with the help of any one of these documents like the child’s birth certificate or hospital discharge slip or school ID card. Apart from this, the basis of one of the parents will be required.

Biometric is not taken

Let us tell you that the biometric is not updated in the Aadhaar of the children. The biometrics of young children keep changing till the age of five years. But as soon as the child is more than five years of age, you can update the biometric of your children in the Aadhar card.

Children get Baal Aadhaar

Children below the age of 5 years are given a blue colored Aadhaar, which is called Bal Aadhaar and when the child attains the age of 5 years and he/she gets the biometric updated, he/she gets a new Aadhaar.

How to get it done (How to Register for Aadhaar Card)

• For this you have to go to the official website of UIDAI.
• Here you have to click on Aadhar Card Registration.
• Now download the form from here and fill all the necessary information in it.
• After this you will get an appointment from the nearest Aadhaar center.
• When you will get the appointment, you will have to go to the Aadhaar center with all the documents.
