How to book an online appointment for mobile number update?
- Step 1: Visit the official website of UIDAI and select the language of your preference.
- Step 2: Click on My Aadhaar > Get Aadhaar > Book an Appointment.
- Step 3: Select your city or location and click on Proceed to Book Appointment.
- Step 4: Enter your current mobile number and captcha, then click on Generate OTP.
- Step 5: Enter the OTP and click on Verify OTP.
It usually takes 2–4 weeks for the mobile number to be updated. You can check the status on the UIDAI website with the URN (Update Request Number).
