3) Increase in dearness allowance: From July 2023, dearness allowance for central employees and pensioners was increased from 42% to 46%. Now with 4 percent increase in dearness allowance from January, it can be increased to 50%, due to which employees will get more dearness allowance.

4) Expectation from the government: Discussions are beginning regarding the implementation of the Eighth Pay Commission and employees are hopeful that this will provide them with better salaries.
