Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chowdhary said in a written reply to a question in Parliament that no such proposal is under consideration with the government.

Increase in DA will be possible-

Due to rising inflation, it was expected that in the beginning of August, central government employees and pensioners can increase DA (Dearness Allowance) and DR (Dearness Relief) by up to 4 percent. However, a decision has not been taken on this yet. If the government increases the DA, then there will be a huge increase in the salary of central employees.
