On May 31, 180 pilots were dismissed

Let us tell you that in the first round of layoffs, the Dubai-based airline fired 600 pilots a day, which in itself was the biggest layoff in the global aviation industry. Due to the impact of Corona on a global scale, almost all airlines have either laid off employees or drastically cut their salaries. In addition, many have been sent on leave without pay.

The airline started lay off prcess from May 31, when it showed 180 pilots on the way out. In this way, 1600 pilots working in the company have lost their jobs. Later in June, the chain was stopped.

However, it was not clear why the airline decided to cease termination in June, but has now been retrenched when reports of suicide by some employees have surfaced. Emirates Airline had planned to reduce its workforce capacity by 30 per cent. According to this, about 30,000 people will have to lose their jobs.
