7th Pay Commission Update: Soon another good news can come for all the government employees working under the central and state government. For your information, let us tell you that after getting the Dearness Allowance / DA (Dearness Allowances), HRA and then TA promotion, now all the employees can get the benefit due to the increase in the fitment factor. Discussion is still going on about this. If there is an agreement in this regard and the fitment factor is increased, then this will be a great gift for the central and state government employees on the new year.

The salary of central employees may increase by ₹ 31,740 due to fitment factor!
As for a long time, the government employees who come under the state and central government, there has been a demand that their fitment factor should be increased. To be increased from 2.57 per cent at present to 3.68 per cent. According to the news received by the sources, soon the fitment factor of government employees may increase by the beginning of next year.

The government is considering this and it is expected that a decision regarding the fitment factor of government employees will come during the presentation of the budget in February 2021. If this happens, then there may be an increase in the minimum wage of government employees.

For your information, let us tell you that in the year 2016 also the fitment factor was increased. The 7th Pay Commission was also implemented in the same year. At that time the minimum salary of government employees was Rs 6000. Which directly increased to Rs 18000 due to increase in fitment factor. Now in the year 2022, due to the increase in the fitment factor again, the salary of government employees will increase again.

Do calculations like this

Let us now understand the increase in salary due to increase in fitment factor. Please note that the calculation is being done on the minimum basic salary here. Employees whose salary is high will obviously get more benefits on salary.

Minimum Basic Pay: Rs 18000

Salary excluding allowances will be : 18000 X 2.57 = Rs.46260

26000 X 3 = Rs.78000 on 3% basis

Total Increase : 78000 – 46,260 = Rs 31,740

JCM Secretary Shiv Gopal Mishra told that the central employees have not received the arrears for 18 months. Also, the government has not yet taken any definite decision to increase the fitment factor. In such a situation, if the fitment factor increases from 2.57 percent to 3, then it will definitely be beneficial.
