From the data of AICPI, it has been decided that there is going to be an increase in the DA of the employees, but now it has also been decided when it will be announced. Actually, according to the data of AICPI so far, there is bound to be a 5% to 6% DA increase.

Many decisions can be taken on August 3!

It is expected that the government can announce this in the cabinet meeting to be held on August 3. But, in this meeting, updates can also come about the salary of the employees. The possibility of increasing the fitment factor is also being expressed in this meeting. Apart from this, a decision can also come on the DA arrear of 18 months (18 months DA arrear).

Arrears are stuck for 18 months

It is noteworthy that in the year 2021, in the cabinet meeting held on July 14, the dearness allowance under the 7th pay commission was simultaneously increased by 11 percent, which has been implemented from July 1, 2021. The dearness allowance for January 2020, June 2020, January 2021 was kept frozen due to Corona, which was later stamped. But the DA arrears of this period i.e. 18 months are still hanging.

How much will the salary increase?

Calculation on maximum basic salary

1. Basic salary of employee Rs 56,900
2. New dearness allowance (40%) Rs 22,760/month
3. Dearness allowance so far (34%) Rs 19,346/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased 22,760-19,346 = Rs 3,414/month
5. Increase in annual salary 3,414 X12 = Rs 40,968

Calculation on minimum basic salary

1. Basic salary of the employee Rs 18,000
2. New dearness allowance (40%) Rs 7,200/month
3. Dearness allowance so far (34%) Rs 6120/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased 7200-6120 = Rs 1080/month
5. Increase in annual salary 1080 X12 = Rs 12,960
