Today there is great news for the central employees on 14th November 2021 Children’s Day. After increasing the dearness allowance and dearness relief (DA / DR Hike) by 31 percent, now more than 11.56 lakh employees are going to get another allowance under the 7th Pay Commission.

It is reported that the Modi government may soon increase another House Rent Allowance (HRA). According to media reports, the benefit of this allowance can be availed in January. If this happens, then the salary of the employees will benefit up to 8100 and the benefit of arrears will also be available.

In fact, recently, the Central Government has increased dearness allowance and dearness relief to 31 percent, giving a gift to 1 crore central employees and pensioners, whose benefit has started getting from October-November 2021. According to media reports, soon the Modi government can increase the HRA of the employees. Brainstorming has started in the Finance Ministry regarding this and this proposal has also been sent to the Railway Board for approval. It is expected that it can be benefited in January.

According to media reports, the Indian Railway Technical Supervisors Association (IRTSA) and the National Federation of Railwaymen (NFIR) have demanded the implementation of HRA from January 1, 2021, so the Modi government has started considering it. If this proposal is approved, then from January 2021, the employees will get HRA, after which there will be a significant increase in salary. Under this, the employees will get a minimum benefit of Rs 5400 and a maximum of Rs 8100 per month. For example, if someone’s basic salary is Rs 30,000, then he will get the benefit of HRA of about Rs 5400 to Rs 8100 per month.

According to media reports, according to Harishankar Tiwari, former chairman of AG Office Brotherhood and general secretary of All India Accounts and Audit Committee, the increase in dearness allowance will increase his House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA). According to the pay matrix of the 7th Pay Commission, there will be a different increase in the salary of each level employee. When DA exceeds 25 per cent under 7th Pay Commission, HRA will also increase. Its rate will increase from 8, 16, 24 percent to 9, 18 and 27 percent.
