7th Pay Commission: Government employees are going to get a big gift before the new year. After the central government, now the state governments are also announcing an increase in the salary.



 

7th Pay Commission: After the central government, now the state governments are also increasing the salary of the employees. In this sequence, the Himachal Pradesh government has announced a new pay scale for its employees under the 7th Pay Commission . An official spokesperson has given this information. The state government has announced that the contractual employees will now be regularized in two years. Till now contract employees are regularized in three years.

While addressing the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation on Saturday, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced new pay scales for the state government employees. This will come into effect from 1 January 2016. According to the information, the salary of January, 2022 will be payable in February, 2022 according to the revised pay scale.

Jai Ram Thakur said that the State Government is spending about 43 percent of its total budget on employees and pensioners. After the implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission, it will be increased to 50 percent. The Chief Minister said that all pensioners and family pensioners would also be given revised pension and other pension benefits from January 1, 2016.

The central government is also planning to give good news to its employees. The House Rent Allowance (HRA) of the employees is expected to increase at the beginning of the new year. If this happens, then the salary of central employees will also increase. The Indian Railway Technical Supervisor Association (IRTS) and the National Federation of Railwaymen (NFIR) are also considering the demand to increase the HR of the employees.

City wise HRA available

The category of House Rent Allowance (HRA) is divided according to the cities of X, Y and Z category. That is, employees falling in the X category will now get an HRA of more than Rs 5400 per month. After this, the person of Y class will get Rs 3600 per month and the person of Z class will get Rs 1800 per month.

Cities with a population of more than 50 lakhs fall in the X category. Central employees in these cities will get 27 percent HRA. It will be 18 percent in Y category cities and 9 percent in Z category.
