7th Pay Commission: Lakhs of central employees of the country are waiting for the increase in dearness allowance once again. It is believed that after Diwali next month, in November, the Modi government of the Center can once again increase the dearness allowance (7th Pay Commission) of the employees by 3 percent.

If this happens, then central employees will soon get 31 percent dearness allowance (DA Hike 2021) instead of 28 percent and in such a situation, there will be a jump in the salary of the employee getting 56,000 basic salary and dearness allowance can be more than Rs 2 lakh.

According to media reports, the Modi government at the Center can increase the DA and DR of more than 1 crore central employees and pensioners by 3 percent before Diwali after 28 percent DA to central employees. After the increase in DA by 3 percent i.e. 31 percent, there will be an increase in different allowances, although this increase will be done for the July to December half. After this, the employees and pensioners will get the benefit of dearness allowance and relief at the rate of 31 percent.

According to media reports, now those who get a basic salary of Rs 56,000 will get Rs 17360 and on the calculation of 31 percent DA, annually 17360 * 12 = Rs 208,320. This means that there will be a difference of Rs 20160 on an annual basis. This has been taken as an estimate, adding increased allowances can lead to more or less salary. More than 50 lakh permanent central employees and more than 65 lakh pensioners will benefit from this. The government increases the dearness allowance twice a year, so the dearness allowance for July 2021 is yet to increase.

Let us tell you that the dearness allowance was increased by 4-4% in January 2020-21 and by 3% in June 2020. In these three jumps, the dearness allowance has increased by 11% and now it has reached 28%, this included 4 per cent in January 2020, 3 per cent in June 2020 and 4 per cent DA in January 2021.

After the increase of 3 percent in June 2021, the dearness allowance will reach 31 percent (17+4+3+4+3). Employees are expected to get at least 3 per cent DA hike, as indicated by the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) data from January 2021 to May 2021. However, when it will be paid, no official information has been revealed.
