7th Pay Commission: DA of government servants will increase from this day, there will be a bumper increase in salary

New Delhi: 7th Pay Commission: From the 28th of this month, the central employees will start getting the benefit of increased DA i.e. dearness allowance.


The increase in dearness allowance of central employees, who have been demanding increase in DA for a long time, has been approved. An official announcement related to the increase in DA will also be made by the end of this month. The decision has been taken by the Central Government to increase the DA.

DA will increase so much

According to the claims of experts and the reports going on in the media, it is believed that the central government is going to increase the DA by 4 percent. At present, the employees working under the central government are given dearness allowance at the rate of 34 percent. If there is an increase of 4 per cent, then it will increase to 38 per cent.

More than 1 crore people will get benefit

More than 1 crore employed and pensioners will benefit from the decision of the Central Government to increase the DA. Explain that the government uses the data of the All India Consumer Price Index to increase the dearness allowance of the employees. In the past, it had seen an increase of 0.2 points, after which it reached 129.2 points. Looking at these figures, it is being estimated that the government can increase the DA by 4 percent.

There will be a bumper increase in salary

According to the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary of employees is Rs 18,000 and at the level of cabinet secretary it is Rs 56,900. According to 38 percent, the total increase in annual DA on basic salary of Rs 18000 will be Rs 6840. If seen month by month, there will be a total increase of Rs 720 in DA every month. At the maximum basic salary bracket of Rs 56,900, the total increase in annual dearness allowance will be Rs 27,312. Those in this salary bracket will get Rs 2276 more per month as compared to 34 per cent.
