Actually, the fitment factor plays an important role in the salary received by the employees . Due to this, the salary of central employees increases by more than two and a half times.

It is worth noting that the central employees had been demanding an increase in the fitment factor for a long time. Central employees have been demanding for a long time to increase the fitment factor from 2.57 per cent to 3.68 per cent. If the central government accepts this demand, then there will be a tremendous increase in the minimum wage of central employees. The fitment factor decides the basic salary for all central government employees. This time there is a possible increase in the fitment factor, then the minimum basic pay will be increased from Rs 18000 to Rs 26000.

If DA arrears come, you will get good money

Central employees are demanding arrears of Dearness Allowance for 18 consecutive months between January 2020 and June 2021. There is also a lot of agitation going on regarding this stuck arrears. It is expected that the central government can find a middle ground and solve it in one go.

8th Pay Commission is in discussion

At present the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission are applicable for the increase in the salary of the central employees. At the same time, the discussion about the Eighth Pay Commission (8th Pay Commission) is in full swing. At present the minimum wage range starts from Rs 18000. With the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, the fitment factor can be increased up to 3.68 times. If this increases, then the minimum wage may increase from Rs 18 thousand to Rs 26,000.
