7th Pay Commission: Big news! Bumper increase in the salary of the central employees of this state, know how much will be the benefit

Joint Bipartite Committee has been constituted for the salary increase and other facilities of the coal workers of Jharkhand. In this, Coal India informed the labor unions about the effect of wage increase.


Ranchi: Three meetings of the Joint Bipartite Committee (JBCCI)-11 constituted for the salary and other facilities of the coal workers have been held. But, till now the talks on salary and facilities have not started. In the third meeting, Coal India has informed the labor unions about the economic impact of the wage hike on the company. It has been told that if the salary increase is done by five to 25 percent under the current system, then what will be the effect on the company every year.

It has been told by the company that if the salary increase of five percent is done, then every year Rs 2365 crore will be spent by the company. SECL will spend the most in this. SECL will have to spend about Rs 460 crore every year. Similarly, if there is an increase of 7 percent, then Coal India will have to bear the burden of Rs 2988 crore. 3916 on 10 percent increase, 5464 on 15 percent increase, 7011 crore on 20 percent increase and 8558 crore rupees annually for 25 percent increase. SECL will have to spend the most in this, about Rs 1640 crore every year.

56925 crore will be spent in the first year on accepting the demand of labor unions: The trade unions have given a demand letter. On fulfilling this demand letter, Coal India will have to spend about Rs 56925 crore in the first year. 53324 crores will have to be spent in the second year, 54147 in the third year, 54871 in the fourth year and 55524 crores in the fifth year. On an average, Rs 54858 crore will have to be spent.

24% salary increase in the last settlement:
In the last agreement (JBCCI-10), the salary of coal workers was increased by about 24 percent. There was a 20 percent pay increase and a special allowance of four percent. This time the union is demanding 50 percent of the total salary and allowances. This year’s salary settlement is due from July 1, 2020.
