7th Pay Commission: Big news! Amount increased by 95,000 due to DA increase, so much amount coming in the account

7th Pay Commission: If the salary of the employee is Rs 18000, then the annual increment of the employees is Rs 30,240.


After the recent hike in their Dearness Allowance (DA) for lakhs of 7th pay commission employees of the central government, the salary of central government employees has increased by up to Rs 95,000. Central government employees are getting 28% hike in DA from 1st July and Center again decided to increase DA from 28% to 31%, after which increase in payment of their salary by up to Rs 95,000 from the month of November happened.

The salary of a central government employee increases according to their basic pay and grade. DA hikes are set to help 47.14 lakh central government employees and 68.62 lakh pensioners. After the DA hike, the central government employees will take home the increased annual salary package.

Level 1 central government employee salary ranges from Rs 18000 to Rs 56900 and if the salary of a central government employee is Rs 18000, the annual increment of employees is Rs 30,240. According to the 31 percent increase in DA, the total annual DA on the basic salary of Rs 56900 will be Rs 211,668. Talking about the difference, the salary will increase by Rs 95,592 annually.

Calculation on Minimum Basic Wage

  • Basic Pay of Employee – Rs 18,000
  • New Dearness Allowance (31%) – Rs 5580/month
  • Dearness Allowance till date (17%) – Rs 3060 per month
  • Increase DA – Rs 2520/month
  • Annual increment = Rs 30,240

Calculation on maximum basic pay

  • Basic Pay of Employee – Rs 56900
  • New DA (31%) – Rs 17639/month
  • Dearness Allowance till date (17%) – Rs 9673/month
  • How much DA increased – Rs 7966 / month
  • Annual increment 7966X12 = Rs 95,592
