Xiaomi Fears Anti China Sentiment: In India, the effect of growing anger against people has started showing. The most fear is visible on the Chinese smartphone companies who have set their foot in the Indian market. It is known that due to the fast growing anti China sentiment in the country, Chinese products are being boycotted. Since the Chinese smartphone market is occupied by the Chinese companies, it may affect them.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is number-1 in India. Now the company has started putting Made in India logo in front of its stores to avoid damage in most cities. Now the company is putting posters of Made in India in its exclusive stores. According to a report, the company has asked its shop floor promoters not to wear Xiaomi uniforms.




Xiaomi stores in cities like Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Agra and Pune have been covered with the Made in India logo. The All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA) has written letters to Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, One Plus, Reality, Lenevo-Moto and Huawei.




Significantly, demonstrations are being held against China in many places and demand is being made to buy Chinese products. During this time sabotage and lockout has also been seen in many places. In this letter, retailers have been asked to cover their brand logo for a few months to protect them from physical damage during the Anti China Sentiment.
