Lucknow, JNN. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big gift to two thousand child laborers of the state on International Child Labor Prohibition Day. Now the labor department of the state will bear the entire cost of their education and free them from child labor.

On International Child Labor Prohibition Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday launched the Bal Shramik Vidya Yojana in the state through video conferencing. Yogi Adityanath said that this is a conditional cash transfer scheme that will be given to those working children and adolescent girls in the age group of eight to 18 years who are working in organized or unorganized sectors due to adverse family circumstances. Under the scheme till the passing of high school, financial assistance will be provided to 1000 boys and Rs 1200 per month to girls. After passing class eight, nine and ten, they will also be given an incentive of Rs 6000 for each class. Initially, the benefit of this scheme will be given to 2000 children of the state. Labor Minister Swami Prasad Maurya and Minister of State for Labor Manohar Lal Mannu Kori were also present at the event. 




This Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said today that the Labor Department will not only provide education to the two thousand child laborers of the state, but will also free them from child labor. CM Yogi Adityanath said that today is a very great day for child laborers. We have also taken a pledge on International Child Labor Prohibition Day. The state government will launch a big campaign to rid children of child labor forced by the poor or for any other reason. CM Yogi Adityanath said that our government is going to open 18 Atal residential schools in the first phase in the state. In which children engaged in child labor will be given admission. In the first phase, 18 Atal residential schools will be opened. All these will be opened in an area of ​​12 to 15 acres at the Divisional Headquarters. Children will be divided into five classes to enter it. These include children of orphans or childless disabled parents engaged in child labor, parents of incurable disease, The children of the landless family or helpless children will be given education. Along with this, work will also be done to improve their skills.




He said that there is a very large group in our state with the country, whose children do child labor under great compulsion. Our effort is to get them out of this very difficult situation. With the child labor liberation campaign, we are taking steps to develop the skills of children and make them self-reliant.
