Apple is preparing to launch its foldable device soon. According to the report of 9to5Mac, the Cupertino, California-based company has increased the pace of work on the foldable device. It is expected that they will launch the foldable iPhone by the end of 2026. The report quoted Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu as saying that according to information received from the supply chain, Apple’s foldable devices may arrive soon.

When can it be launched?

Apple is expected to start manufacturing its first foldable device by the end of the year. This device can be a 20.3 inch foldable smartphone or tablet. However, this is not the first time that news of Apple’s foldable device has come. Previous reports suggested that Apple is also working on making a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook, but it will probably not be launched in 2027.

Which market will the foldable iPhone target?

In his report, analyst Jeff Pu says that Apple’s foldable device will be launched as part of a completely new line-up and will specifically target the “ultra-high-end” smartphone market. According to the report, Apple is considering two screen sizes for its foldable iPhone: 7.9-inch and 8.3-inch.

Meanwhile, Apple is scheduled to hold its ‘Let Loose’ event on May 7, where new iPads and accessories are expected to be shown. This event will be live streamed on Apple’s website and Apple TV app at 10 am PT (US Pacific Time).
