There are problems in registration on the E-Shram portal, then this is the solution

Workers will be issued an e-shram card in which they will be given a unique code of 12 numbers. This code will identify that worker. On the basis of this code, the workers will be given the benefit of government schemes.

The central government is going to launch the ‘e-shram portal’ which will be very effective for the unorganized workers. The workers will get the national database on this portal. The government will launch this portal on August 26. The logo of the e-shram portal was unveiled on Wednesday. Unorganized sector workers will be identified with the help of e-shram portal. All the central trade union leaders have welcomed the e-shram portal and extended their support for its successful launch and implementation.

In view of the large number of workers in the unorganized sector in the country, this step of the government is considered very important. There is no database or accurate data of workers in the unorganized sector in the country so far. Due to this the benefits of government schemes are not reaching the workers.

To overcome this shortcoming, e-shram portal is being started where complete information of workers will be recorded. According to statistics, there are about 437 crore unorganized workers in the country at present. The government says that the benefit of this initiative (introduction of e-shram portal) and the benefits of government schemes will be available to all unorganized workers.

What will the e-shram portal do?

With the help of e-shram portal, data and information of workers will be collected. Then on the same basis the government will make plans and rules for the workers. The government will ensure that the benefits of the schemes reach the workers of the unorganized sector. On behalf of the government, all the workers of the country will be divided into categories on the basis of their work on the lines of identity card and Aadhar card. On this basis, the government will prepare the record of the workers. The preparation of the government is to register about 38 crore workers on the e-shram portal.

After the launch of e-shram portal, workers of the unorganized sector can start their registration from the same day. After giving your complete information, you can connect yourself with the e-shram portal. For this, the worker will have to give necessary information like date of birth, home town, mobile number and social category. Apart from this, Aadhar card number and bank account details will have to be entered. After giving all these information, workers can register themselves.

How will the registration

After giving all this information, an e-shram card will be issued to the workers in which they will be given a unique code of 12 numbers. This code will identify that worker. On the basis of this code, the workers will be given the benefit of government schemes. Through this portal, the government is to register 38 crore unorganized sector workers such as construction workers, migrant workers, street vendors and domestic workers.

The Ministry of Labor will help in getting the workers registered on the portal. The state government, trade union and common service center will also help in this. After the launch of Shram Portal, a public awareness campaign will be launched for this in the entire country. The government is also making a national toll free number for this. This number will be 14434 on which workers can call and get all the information related to registration. If there is any problem in registration, then the solution will also be told on the toll free number.
