West Bengal: Strict lockdown to be implemented again from 9 July, relaxation in green zone

new Delhi. In view of the huge increase in the number of patients infected with Coronavirus Pandemic , the Government of West Bengal (West Bengal) has imposed strict lockdown in the Containment Zone and Buffer Zone from July 9 across the state. Have decided to apply. Apart from this, the state government is going to implement 14 days Total Lockdown in North 24 Parganas.

Lockdown will be implemented from 5 pm tomorrow



The new order issued by Mamata Government states that only essential services will be provided in the container and buffer zones. Also, Transport Services will be suspended. Now only the green zone will be exempted in the state. All private and government offices in the Containment Zone and Buffer Zone will also be closed.

According to West Bengal government officials, to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 in Bengal from 5 pm on July 9, the tightened lockdown will be merged to enforce a tight lockdown.

Earlier it was reported that in view of increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection in Malda district of West Bengal, the English market and Old Malda town will continue the entire lockdown for a week from Wednesday. During this time, all the shops will remain closed except the sale of essential commodities.

Strict lockdown in Containment Zone



The order issued by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Alapan Bandopadhyay in the Government of West Bengal (West Bengal Govt) said that these extensive containment zones would be subject to strict lockdown and all government and private offices, all non-essential activities, ceremonies, transportation , All market, industrial and commercial activities will remain closed.

However, it did not specify how long these lockdown instructions will remain in force. It is different that the current phase of lockdown is in force till 31 July.

859 cases in Malda



In emergencies some rickshaws will be made available only for fixed places. The English market in the district headquarters will be open till 11 am. There are millions of migrant laborers living in Malda. So far 859 cases have been reported here. Of these, 331 are undergoing treatment. 524 people were discharged from hospital after recovering. 4 people died in the district. The district is on the India-Bangladesh border.
