Harela is celebrated at the beginning of the month of Shravan, when people sow seven types of grains like wheat, barley, gram etc. in the soil and after ten days, the elders of the house cut their greenery (Harela) and place it on the head of the family members as a blessing. This festival is associated with nature, farming and family unity.

19 July (Saturday)
Tripura – Banks will not open due to Ker Puja. This puja is dedicated to the local deity Ker.
20 July (Sunday)
This is a weekly holiday, so banks will remain closed across the country.
