You can apply for Voter ID card through your smartphone sitting at home. If you also want to apply online for your Voter-ID card, then you can apply for it through the Election Commission. Your Voter ID will be delivered to your home within 10 days of applying.

What is the process

To apply for voter ID card online, you have to first go to the website of the Election Commission. After this you have to click on the National Voter Service Portal on that website. After this step, you have to go to the apply online section and click on the option of Registration of New Voter. There you have to download Form 6 and fill in your details and then click on the submit button. Now a link will come on your mail id. Through this you will be able to track the status of your Voter ID card. After this your voter ID will be sent to your home.
