Sarnath light and sound show : 7.88 crore light and sound program project has started for cultural program operation in Sarnath
The Light and Sound Show was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the famous Buddhist site Sarnath in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Monday morning, and laser show system for tourists started in the evening. Light and Sound with Buddhaham Sharanam Gachhami, Dhammam Sharanam Gachhami Mantras launched in the voice of veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. After the inauguration of PM Modi, tourists heard the saga of Lord Buddha through a laser show in the voice of Amitabh Bachchan in Sarnath. A 7.88 crore light and sound program project has been started for cultural program operation in Sarnath.
This 30-minute special film based on the life of Lord Buddha at the Stupa at Sarnath in Varanasi was shown to the tourists through light and sound system. This laser show will attract tourists to Sarnath. Minister of State Neelkanth Tiwari said that this laser show will be performed daily. According to Neelkanth, the light and sound show at the historic Buddhist site Dhamekh Stupa will be held daily between 7.30 pm and 8 pm.

A tourism department official said that the Rs 7.88 crore project in Sarnath will leave tourists spellbound. Avinash Mishra, joint director of the tourism department, said that the voice of century legend Abhinabh Bachchan has been given to make Sarnath’s light and sound show attractive. Explain that the plan to tell Lord Buddha’s life story on the first sermon of the place through this show is very old. The laser show at Sarnath was planned in the Akhilesh government, but the work has been completed in the Yogi government and was launched by Prime Minister Modi on Monday (9 November).
