New Vande bharat express: PM Modi will flag off both the trains on 8th April. After the inauguration of two new trains, the total number of Vande Bharat Express trains in the country will be 13.


New Vande Bharat Express: The country will get two more new Vande Bharat Express trains. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off both the new Vande Bharat trains. The first train will run on the Secunderabad-Tirupati route. At the same time, the second will run between Chennai-Coimbatore route. PM Modi will flag off both the trains on April 8. After the inauguration of two new trains, the total number of Vande Bharat Express trains in the country will be 13.

Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express

PM Modi will flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express from Secunderabad railway station. The Secunderabad to Tirupati Vande Bharat Express will connect Hyderabad to the temple town of Tirupati where pilgrims go to worship Lord Venkateswara. According to the PMO, the train is expected to reduce the travel time between the two cities by about three and a half hours. The objective of the new train is to provide ease and convenience of travel to the pilgrims. This will be the second Vande Bharat Express train to run from Telangana. Earlier on January 15, PM Modi had flagged off the Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat Express train.

Route of Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express

According to reports, the average speed of the new train on this route will be 77.73 kmph. Hyderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express train will stop at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore stations. However, the train running on the inauguration will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Pidugurala, Guntur, Chirala, Ongole, Tenali, Bapatla, Nellore and Gudur stations. Apart from this, two more Vande Bharat trains are in the pipeline for Hyderabad. One of the upcoming trains will run between Hyderabad and Kachiguda in Bengaluru and the other will run between Secunderabad and Pune.

Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express

PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train from Chennai to Coimbatore in a ceremony at MGR Chennai Central Railway Station. He will also inaugurate a DEMU train from Tiruthuraipoondi to Agastyampalli, which aims to benefit commuters from Coimbatore, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu. The new Vande Bharat Express will be the second express to run from Chennai. In November last year, PM Modi had flagged off the Mysore Vande Bharat Express from Chennai.

Route of Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express

The new train running between Chennai and Coimbatore will have eight coaches, including one executive coach, and will carry a total of 530 people. The train will cover a distance of 495.28 km in 6 hours 10 minutes and will stop at Tiruppur, Erode and Salem stations. According to reports, the train will run on all days except Wednesday.
