Vande Bharat will depart from Meerut City Railway Station at 6:35 am and from Varanasi at 9:10 am. Passengers will be able to visit Kashi Vishwanath along with Ramlala in Ayodhya.
From Wednesday, railway passengers will travel from Meerut to Varanasi in the Vande Bharat train. Passengers will now be able to visit other pilgrimage places including Kashi Vishwanath along with Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. The Vande Bharat train (number 22490) will depart from Meerut City Railway Station at 6:35 am on Wednesday and will reach Varanasi at 6:25 pm. The departure time of Vande Bharat (train no. 22489) from Varanasi to Meerut has been fixed at 9:10 am. On the very first day, 277 passengers made bookings to go to Varanasi.
After Meerut, the Vande Bharat train will stop at Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ayodhya and Varanasi Junction. The journey from Meerut to Varanasi will be 783 km. Earlier this train used to run only from Meerut to Lucknow. There was a long standing demand to extend it to Varanasi and stop at Hapur Junction.
The railways started stopping the Vande Bharat train at Hapur on 27 July last month. As announced earlier, the train is now being run from Meerut to Varanasi. The train has 440 seats in the chair car and 52 seats in the executive class. This train will run six days a week from both sides except Tuesday.Â
Let us tell you that the number of people going from Meerut to Ayodhya and Varanasi is quite high. People had started booking seats in the AC chair car and executive class of Vande Bharat train a week ago. 250 people had booked seats in the AC chair car and 27 in the executive class in the Vande Bharat train. It is believed that the number of passengers will increase further in the coming time.
