New prices applicable from May 30
Explain that the increased prices of fees for non-immigrant visa (NIV) will be applicable from 30 May 2023. Visa application fees have been increased on the basis of various categories, which mainly include visitor, tourist visa, student visa and exchange visitor visa.
Increase up to Rs 2000
The fee for business or tourist (B1/B2 and BCC) visas and other non-petition based non-immigrant visas like student visas has been increased from Rs 13000 to around Rs 15000. After the implementation of these rules, Indian students will have to pay around Rs 15,140 for a US visa. Apart from this, the visa prices for temporary workers (H, L, O, P, Q, and R categories) have also increased, earlier where it was Rs 15557 for temporary workers, now it has been increased to Rs 16785.
