UPSC Result 2021: The Union Public Service Commission has released the result of the Combined Geo Scientist Recruitment mains exam. In such a situation, the candidates who had appeared in this examination can check the result (UPSC Geo-Scientist Result 2021) by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in. Let us tell you that through this recruitment, a total of 40 posts will be recruited.

The application process for recruitment to the post of Geo Scientist by UPSC started on 7 October 2020. In this, candidates were given time till 27 October 2020 to apply. The prelims exam for this vacancy was conducted on 21 February 2021, the results of which were released on 25 March. The candidates who got selected in the prelims exam had to appear in the mains exam that was conducted on July 17 and 18. Now the Mains Exam Result (UPSC Geo-Scientist Result 2021) has been declared on the website.

  2. Go to the result section on the home page of the website.
  3. Now click on Examination Written Results.
  4. Here click on Exam Name Download Date of Upload Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2021.
  5. A PDF file will open.
  6. Candidates can check the result with the help of their roll number and name in it.
  7. Click here to check result from direct link .

Vacancy Details

According to the released notification, a total of 40 posts are to be recruited. Different qualifications and age limit were fixed for all the posts.

Chemist Group A- According to this vacancy, 15 seats have been fixed for the post of Chemist Group A. In this, candidates applying for MSc or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry were sought. The age limit for this was kept between 21 years to 32 years.

CGWB Scientist- 16 seats have been fixed for this post. In this, the candidates having Master’s degree in Geology could apply.

CGWB Scientist Chemical – There are 3 seats to be recruited for this post.



CGWB Scientist Geophysics- According to this vacancy, a total of 6 seats have been kept in this post. Full details of the vacancy can be seen in the notification available on the official website.
