UP: Temple priest shot dead in Gonda, attacked over ground dispute

After Rajasthan, a priest has been attacked in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. Samrat Das, the priest of the Ram Janaki temple in Gonda, was shot dead on Saturday night. Doctors have referred him to Lucknow in an injured condition. This incident is of Tirre Manorama under Itiyathok police station.

It is being told that the miscreants entered the temple premises and shot the priest. This attack happened due to a land dispute on Mahant Samrat Das. It is being told that they have been attacked in the past too over the land dispute. The miscreants have shot the priest of the Ram Janaki temple panoramic point of origin. According to the information, Ram Vilas is the patron of Vedanti Math. The miscreants entered the temple premises and shot the Mahant. Homeguards were deployed in the name of security.

Mahant Samrat Das is said to be in critical condition after being shot. It is being told that the landlords had their eye on the land of the temple. Mahant has accused many people including Prime Minister Amar Singh of attacking him. Police officials are investigating the case through tax. The police is looking for the attackers.

The priest was burnt alive in Rajasthan

Like Gonda, the priest was burnt alive in a land dispute in Karauli, Rajasthan, in which the monk was killed. Some people burnt the priest alive in a temple dispute in Bukna village of Karauli district of Rajasthan. The seriously injured priest was admitted to a hospital, where he died during treatment on Thursday night.

The body of a monk found in a river in Baghpat

The sensation spread on Saturday after the body of a sadhu was found from Yamuna river in Bagwat town’s Kotwali area. Many marks of injury have also been found on the body of the monk. Unknown monk was not identified. The police who reached the spot tried to identify the body, but could not be identified. After this, the police sent the body for postmortem and started investigating the matter.
